Lesley has collaborated with three women artists to form the Blaze Artists' Group. The show at the Ice House will be the first time they have exhibited together. BAG consists of Gilly Budd and Joke van Wijk both ceramicists, Pippa Jameson Evans showing ceramics and installation, and Lesley will be exhibiting paintings alongside her ceramics (click on poster below for a larger version).

First Prize at the V&A
Inspired by the V&A collections is an annual competition run by the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Lesley Martin's Raku fired horse head was a successful entry and was awarded First Prize by the Sculpture Department.
It was exhibited next to a jade horse, which was the inspiration for her piece of work, in the burial section of the Chinese Gallery.
